Not far from the Miracle square, about ten minutes by bus on direction “Marina di Pisa”, another romanesque masterpiece built upon a 4th century church: The Basilica of ”San Piero a Grado”. It’s a rare construction with two apses. here, according to tradition,  Saint Peter landed during the journey from Antioch to Rome. Still visible the place from where he preached where, later, the church was built. Marvellous frescoes have been preserved in this church. And after that…..let’so go to Marina di Pisa(10 minutes by bus)! A magnificent coastline to go for a walk, to have an aperitif admiring the sea or enjoy fish and seafood dishes in one of the typical restaurants. (Visiting the church takes about 30 minutes: we can combine this tour with the one to the Miracle square or to a walk in “Marina di Pisa”).
